Innology-written proposal secures funding for educational robotics institute |
9/1/2007
A proposal designed and written by Innology for Alamo Community Colleges, Northwest Vista College and Alamo WorkSource secured $470K in funding to create the Texas Institute for Educational Robotics (TIER) at Northwest Vista College. Funding will expand the current SpaceTEAMS summer robotics camp in San Antonio, and it will create TIER to export the model to other locations in Texas. TIER will specifically address sustainability issues and will deeply integrate career exploration. The TIER model will include identification of local career pipelines and referring students at robotics camps to those programs. |
